World Cup - Team USA

Didn't anyone else see the USA lose today? That was ugly. I thought it would be a tough game, but I didn't think we could look that bad. :(

I thought they played quite well. Czech Republic are a quality side though and one of the dark horses for the World Cup. If Reyna's shot had gone in instead of hitting the post it could have been so different.

He he he... right you are, of course. I was on a plane when the match was broadcast, so I didn't get to see the game. When I got to my destination, everyone was 'don't even talk to me'.

3:0 is pretty cool. I hope that Czech Republic gets to the semi finals - that would be awesome.

No offense to USA...but their gonna get their asses served to them on a plate when they play Italy on saturday. The way the US played today was horrible. They had sloppy formations and plays. They had like 2 really good chances to score but didnt.

If anyone caught the game between Italy and Ghana today..and saw the way they were playing...it was amazing!!

USA might wanna re-think their strategies and formations before they go against Italy.

I underestimated the US

Even with 9 guys going against the 10 Italy had...they pulled through.

McBride got F-up!!! but still played. Todays game was so rough. Im lookin forward for the Ghana game.

that was the most frustrating game to watch, horrible ref-ing for both sides ... there's a reason no one had ever scored with only nine people ... CAUSE IT NEVER HAPPENS. The US played incredibly better than the first match, it almost gives me hope. Altogether a great day for USA soccer with the czechs going down.

well, being an avid soccer player and fan, i must say i think they did a great job with 9 guys.

reffing in general at the World Cup has been horrible. i've never seen so many yellow cards in my life. i think it's getting pretty ridiculous. i mean, an average of 5 yellow cards a game? at most you'd see 2 in any normal game, these refs just love reaching in their pockets...

A much better played game, but as already mentioned the officiating was ugly.

At least the American squad didn't embarass themselves. Still, it would be nice to see someone on the team actually score a goal. :)

hey ... there was a 1 next to our name, i say we scored. We're just skilled enough to hit it off the other team first, it makes it more demoralizing.
