Don't like to stop for directions.
But I'm beating my head against a wall it seems.
I have managed to get files from the camera to the P2 card in my HPX170.
I pop the P2 card into my laptop PCMCIA slot.
I click on the P2 content folder on the desktop of the laptop.
There I find clip, video and content folders.
I drag them into my 320 GM external hard drive.
Then I hook the HDD into my editing desktop.
And what I find are the files from the previous shoot.
Good thing this is a dry run.
What am I missing.

Hey DJ.
Windows XP.
So I go to the Panaonic site and download P2CNBS sofware, drag into the external HDD?
Not much of a techie I'm afraid. A definate drawback in this time of transition to HD.
But the images I'm getting with this camera spur me on.
And the P2 cards beat heck (hell) out of tape. Boo tape!
