workflow with the Odyssey

I'm thinking about buying the odyssey, but I have significant doubt on the workflot.
When recording in the odyssey to 2k or 4k, also recorded in the sd card?
if so, you could use these files as proxies and then reconnect the 2k or 4k?
I'm confused and do not know if you have to work raw files gives the odyssey.
You can help me?
 
Someone noted that in the Features video on the 7Q, there was a Pro-Res 4:2:2 marker on the screen. If that's the case, it would be easy since that plays really nice with all the major NLEs. As for RAW, I don't know much about that, but I think most people are planning on shooting 4:2:2 anyways.

It would be nice if the camera recorded to both SDHC and the 7Q simultaneously, but I don't know anything about that.

I'm wondering, currently, if you record to something like an Atomos Samurai, does it recorder to the SDHC as well? Or does the SDHC just shut off?
 
Internal recording starts with the record button. External recorders trigger off various TC (time code) triggers.
