I am shooting with an HMC150 and capturing the 59.94i HDMI uncompressed output with Premiere Pro CS5. I would like to work with the footage as 24p, and I understand that the 59.94i output contains the 24p frames. I have read many posts (on a variety of sites) on this topic, and it is still not clear what approach is the best for removing the HMC150's HDMI pulldown. Some posts say that PP and AE, while easy to use, produce less than desirable quality. The other software tools, JES, etc. seem like options but I can't find a definitive review on the output quality from the pulldown removal tools. If someone has a lead on which pulldown removal tool produces reasonable output and is not a huge hit on workflow, I would appreciate any input.
