Workflow suggestions

Hi everyone.

i am wondering about workflow with the fs700. the new native codec is new for me. i am currently using PPro with the cineform as
the editing codec in the timeline. i am using this since i do have 5d and 7d footage, animation, etc. in a project.

Would you transcode the footage from the 700 to prores or leave as is. Thumbnails don't work on mac which kind of sucks for a rough
intake of material but i can use bridge so that is helpful.

any suggestions??

Well, in my personal workflow I transcode (only if not using pix220) everything and every time in prores by using 5dtorgb but it's my workflow style and your maybe different because it always depends if you got time or not, do you want to edit natively or not etc. If you want to use your footage from fs700 and mix it with 5d/7d I would say you should transcode all the footage to the prores but also make sure your animation is prores too. Keep your workflow easy, clean and clear.
