Workflow issues driving me nucking futs...

I need help from you guys.

My workflow for music videos is just way to time consuming and i need to cut my time down. Maybe you guys can help me out with this. After a shoot i will log and capture my footage into final cut. My next step is then to cc in after effects. This is where it gets crazy for me. I cc all the imported clips one by one and then export them with no compression to keep quality. Then i proceed to edit in final cut. Am i doing this ass backwards. Please give me some ideas or tips or anything

There's a thread around here somewhere titled something like "music video workflow" or similar, and it's pretty handy if I remember correctly. Might want to search for it... but yes, color grading/correcting should be the LAST step in *almost* every project.
