Hi,
I know this has been covered many times but I am still confused.
I am editing a movie that was filmed on a DVX100A using scene 5 (24pN)
and capturing it with Premiere Pro2.
I know it can be edited with either the NTSC or 24P preset in PP2. When I compare the two paths, It seems that the 24p preset is the best overall route
for editing.
1. The NTSC time line after numerous edits is filled with clips that do not represent a continuous cadence. Although I have rendered out movies and they seem "ok", I am still worried that it may be a problem.
2. If I green screen in Afetr Effects it seems to be a easier path to PP2. Because of the cadence issue again.
3. The path to rendering out a QT, WMV or a mpeg2 seems eaiser from the 24p preset mode.
Is this correct, at least in general?
Thanks,
Steve
