The month of February is officially going to be the busiest month of my life.
Not only am I working tirelessly on my LossFest entry, a project that I care very much about and refuse to compromise, but the rest of this month seems to be filling up back to back with videography work. It's a good thing, I know, but basically I'm shooting my project between the 13th and 18th, I'm working on someone else's from now through the 6th, another project from the 7th through the 11th, and then I found out today that something else is going to get slotted in somewhere between the 20th and the end of the month.
I wouldn't be bitching if it weren't for a few things. Firstly, I'm getting GROSSLY underpaid for two of those three projects, and I mean GROSSLY. Put it to you this way, one of the projects is using me as both camera operator/DP while renting my equipment, and I'm only getting $150 a day total, and only shooting according to them 2 and a HALF days, so you can guess the pay for the half day. And secondly, I HAVE PREPRODUCTION TO DO! I get VERY wrapped up in my projects (in this case, "Stupendous") and there's so much I have to do still, I feel.
Ugh. Anyway, to anyone who sat through and read this whole thing I applaud you. Just using the Cafe as a place to release tension and vent. You take care now. Eat your vegetables. Have a good day. Buh-bye.
