Work in progress web series episode. Shot with D90

This is a rough cut of a web series I had planned with a few friends. Sadly after shooting the first episode one of my leads bailed.

The story was about these two friends, Steve and Miles and how they over react or misunderstand new developments in science, tech and the news. Episode one involves Steve's attempts at preventing the Large Hadron Collider from creating a black hole that will destroy the universe.

It's a very niche topic to tailor a series around but hopefully you guys enjoy it.

I still need to add music, sfx and I'm missing a shot or two of the campus exterior.

I'm open to all criticisms.

I like the footage, and the angles.

The script, and dialogue, delivery is ok. A bit of a lot of cursing comes off as uneccesary.

I love the day time footage (ive mostlybeen recording inside and at night) and i can tell how much easier it is to get a good look during the day.

What did you use to record the sound? What did you use to edit?

Thanks for the feedback Jon!

Yeah I've realize that the story isn't the strongest.

Sound was a Rode NTG-2 into a Zoom H4. I had my friends boom and they did the best they could for their lack of experience. It didn't help that my boom pole was a detached mic stand boom with an extended snow brush handle taped to the end. Shock mounts were a luxury we could not afford.

I used FCP to edit, which went pretty painlessly.

Most of the scenes were shot with a 35-70mm f3.5 nikon lens.
