Words of Wisdom on Rain Protection

I have a client who would like me to shoot three days of time lapse of road construction. There is no suitable indoor vantage point, so the camera (Panansonic Agdvx100) would have to be outside. Security is not an issue, nor is power supply, but rain is, because we're in Oregon and it's April. I am wondering if the Porta brace rain slicker or the Camrade wetsuit would provide enough protection over that period of time or if condensation is likely to be a problem. Any other ideas, words of wisdom or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Christine in Portland (why don't I live in Arizona?)
