words don't match

I did an edit and transfered it back onto my dvx then played it on the TV and a couple of scenes the words didn't match the mouth. I'm using Powerbook G4 imovie for editing.

I've had this problem before a few times but most of the time it seem to work out well.

If you play it in your NLE, is the sound in synch? If it is, then I have no idea what your problem could be...Check to make sure your source is all good :-/

I assume you were using FCP? Try asking in there!
