FS7: Wooden Camera PL Mount Support and Metabones compatibility

I am about to get a PL adapter for my FS7 and got my eyes on the one from Wooden Camera, including the support and the top plate. Rail supported PL Mounts like the vocas or 16x9 won't work for me, as my camera is mounted further back on the baseplate. I am wondering if it is possible to screw in a metabones ef to e adapter when you remove the wc pl adapter and the support ring is still installed on the top plate.

Anybody ever tried that?

Wooden Camera said they were coming out with an EF to E adapter like the Metabones with that support ring so you could use both adapters seamlessly. Still nothing yet and I don't know if it's actually coming.
 
I asked Wooden Camera about that, their reply was: "We may release an EF mount in the future as you describe, but I have no further information at this time"
That would be a perfect solution, if it ever sees the light of day...
 
Think WC's intent is to build a dumb EF-NEX adapter.

FYI Vocas has a PL-NEX adapter that attaches to their top plate in a similar manner to WC's solution.
 
I know about the Vocas one, but that one only works with the top plate for the FS5. Asked them today about that.

My bad. Thought that was for the FS7.

When I asked Wooden Camera whether it be possible to leave their PL support in place when using a Metabone's their rep thought it be a bit too small. I've only seen the PL support attached to a wood mockup FS7 but it did appear some e-mount lenses, like the 28-135mm, could fit in when the PL adapter was removed.
