Won't eject tape

Hi there...

My dvx100a only ejects the tape 1 time out of 3 when i opne the tape deck on the eject button. Does anyone know anything about this problem?

sometimes it takes a few seconds, where the camera seems like it's not doing anything but it's actually going to eject it.
maybe you're too impatient??

Yes that I also have experienced. But sometimes it just does'nt do it at all. Quite weird especially because the camera is almost new.

Are you holding the Eject button down for a few seconds, I always hold it down... don't know but I think pressing it just once won't eject it... if the problem persist then call the dealer and let them know, but first make sure it's trully not working
