You and me both! That was my first pick, I think it would be interesting to see how each filmmaker interprerted the underlying meaning of "etc" I mean really, it could almost go anywhere.

I think for kicks the requirement would be to have a Microwave being used somewhere in the film. Microwaves really are the embodiment of "etc" I would also settle for an Easy Bake Oven. :grin:
 
I think that we should do Hot Chick fest. (okay, I know that is politically incorrect but wouldn't it be fun to watch! :evil: )

Way fun to watch! And screw being "politically correct" although if you must, maybe we can use BeautifulLadyFest. Either way it sounds good to me (both as the filmmaker and as the viewer)

other ideas...

1. benny hill fest

2. pink panther fest

the next two are good practice for those who are aspiring to work in hollywood...

3. sequel to fest fest where you gotta make a sequel to one of the previous fests' films.

4. Madison avenue fest - who can come up with the most plastic story idea and who can market the most amount of tie in toys and other commercial goods in under 6 minutes. props to who can display the highest amount of products.
 
Actually, I just realized something: Ted has a nice thought.

GirlFest -- Every short has to have a female lead.
 
I actually really like that idea. LoL. It's another dynamic for us to explore as filmmakers.

Not everything's about boys. =B

i'm down for that!!! somewhere in my Heart of Now thread I think I went on about how I find women endlessly more fascinating than men (maybe because I'm a man and am naturally puzzled by them). their level of intuition, they're biology being in-tune with the rhythms of the natural world. this and other complexities intrigue me. I'd like to make a career out of telling 100 different stories about 100 different women.

It'll be interesting to see how many people research and go to females to ask questions before they lay pen to paper. Also, that should remove the stipulation for an "object" in the film because it'll be a female lead I know you slept with that woman. Or maybe there should STILL be an object?
