Hey mate, that was an interesting piece I enjoyed it. One thing though, audio needs a lot of work, to me it sounded like you used the onboard camera mic when you should of used a shotgun on a boom pole. Some of the levels were very different from shot to shot. A good cheap mic that would of worked great in this instance would be a Rode Videomic, I use one of these on my GS300 for stuff like this and its real nice. I use an AT897 and a ATR55 on the DVX. The onboard mic IMO on the DVX is pretty average.
hmm, yea man, im definatly gonna look into some new audio options soon, its just im cleared out money wise from gettin my mac and the dvx sooo i gotta wait a bit. but yea, i mean this movie was also slapped togetehr in like 2 hours so, i didnt put that much time into at all, and we used a tripod to film, but at anyrate. once i start doing actual serious movies, and know how to use the dvx to its full potentiol ill definatly be upgrading to a better mic, thanks for the tip!
