Pascal Parvex Well-known member Mar 8, 2006 #2 Canopus Procoder can export in WMV-HD, also Quicktime and DivX. DVD-Player compatibility? Nill.
mochouinard Well-known member Mar 8, 2006 #3 Windows Media File arnt really compatible with DVD player. Some of them support divx and other codec, but I can't say if they can handle HD content. I use Avid to export to WMV file : here is a sample file I export in wmv :http://hvx200.moctel.com/Users/Marc_Olivier_Chouinard/Frozen_River_480i_Sam-Mart_ski-doo.wmv

for_mlove Well-known member Mar 8, 2006 #5 There are some DVD players that will play WMV HD content copied to a dvd, here's one example: http://www.buffalotech.com/products/product-detail.php?productid=96 It's available now and is definately cheaper than any of the "HD" dvd players you'll see for the next year... I don't own one, so I can't vouch for the quality.
