With which setup do you edit your hvx-200 footage

I use a Final Cut Studio on a Apple dual 2.5ghz with 4.5 gigs of RAM, and 23" Apple cinema display's. I love it. About 1.5 terabyes of external and internal storage, and when I shoot I dump my 4gig P2 and FCP files to one DVDR. If I shoot more than one 4gig P2 I just through each P2 card file onto a DVDR each.

My workflow is simple, as soon as I shoot I come home, create a folder on my desktop with the date and project (i.e. 073106DragonBoatFest ) Than in that folder I create a folder for each P2 card I shoot and and name them ( 1, 2, etc...) Then I transfer the P2 card to the appropriate folder. Now as for my audio files and FCP files and Scratch disc and render files, I alway change the the new folder with date and name. So everything is there. :)

My work flow is flawless thus far.

I just use the DvcPro HD 720/24p easy setup in FCP5.
I do everything now on my 17" 1.67 Ghz G4 laptop with a gig of RAM.
Since I pretty much shoot everything in 720p, I don't have any issues at all editing and playing the footage. I use P2 Log and P2 Genie and a bunch of Firewire 800 external hard drives.

I take a few FireLite 80 gig Firewire 800 drives out in the field with me for added storage then burn everything to data DVD's when I get home.

That's interesting.

We just this last weekend had a Dragonboat Fest/Race here in town on the Spokane river.

It looked like a lot of fun.

A Canadian company provided the boats.

MBP dualcore 2 ghz with 2 gbs RAM connected to a 23" ACD and a 500gig Gsata via fw800 express card. Using FCP 5.1.1. This set up has been the most glitch free NLE I've ever used.
