Hi,
I allow myself to add a wishlist here for the Sony PMW 200.
First, I would love if they get rid of the yellow lcd screen cast with a following firmware update. My Samsung TV has a film look preset, when I turn it on the image becomes yellow, it's the same with the PMW200's lcd, so I believe this can be corrected with an update. It is really annoying. I need a truthfull reproduction of the colors which will help me judge better in different situations.
Second, An option for selecting how many audio channels to record at desired bitrated whould be great as well as the option to record one stereo channel instead of 4 mono.
Now, I know that noghing can be done about the microphone inside the camera, but I have to complain that the sound is terrible. I thought the sound of my Sony FX1 was bad, but it is worse now. I don't understant why a higher class camera would sound worse than a 10 years older and lower in class camera.
Also for future successors of PMW 200, a 3.5 jack that overides the inside microphone would be great. This way I can plug an external stereo mic instead of using the inside one and still have 3th and 4th channel avaible.
