Wireless

Does the HDMI output allow for remote wireless monitoring?

If you can find a wireless HDMI video sender, then I can't see why not.

Thanks. So does such a beast even exist? If not, is it theoretically possible?

Search on page for HDMI. Not cheap at £860, but if you've got to do wireless HDMI monitoring at 1080p/24 at a distance up to 30m, then that's what you've gotta pay.

Thanks again. Should have Google'd earlier, but knowing these things exist, helped me do more searching. What I'm not seeing is a compact, lightweight transmitter. I'm thinking miniature helicopter use with a GH2 where the payload has to light.

wireless hdmi... more lag?

wireless hdmi... more lag?

I don't know what kind of delay would be incurred, but if it's very low, I don't think for me it would be an issue for monitoring in a hostile-prone environment. Do you have an idea of how much lag we're talking about?

Frankly I don't know.
