Wireless Shotgun Microphone Question

[Tapiocamilktea]

Hey,

I was thinking about getting a wireless transmitter/receiver for my azden sgm-1x for my dvx100b. I was wondering if anybody knows if I'd run into any issues if i were to get this for my azden shotgun mic. I'm only worried that if I buy it and realize that i missed something. Can someone double check me?

It includes the plug in transmitter along with a belt pack transmitter and receiver.

Thanks!

The biggest issue I see you running into is that Azden wireless gear is generally regarded as rubbish. You might want to read up on the Audio 101 sticky for information about budget-minded wireless systems.

That aside, just know that any time you ditch a cable in favor of a wireless system, you're opening up your audio to potential problems.
