Wireless monitoring solution help.

I'm looking to create a cheap wireless monitoring solution my me EX1 and EX3 cameras.
Iv'e come across some old crappy LCD monitors like the type you'd find for back of the seat DVD player which have DV out. I'm wondering if I could get a transmitter and reciever hooked up to create a wireless monitoring solution? straight from the camera to a monitor? Do you think its achievable?
 
Yes, you can go cheap. I've had a producer buy a portable DVD laptop to do just that.

Don't go through DV out though because you'll be forced to use the lower quality SP mode to achieve output. And actually it wouldn't work with an standard def DV feed anyway. Composite (yellow RCA) is the way to go on the cheap.

As for the wireless video, there are cheap solutions now that the economy is crap and HD is overtaking everything. I don't delve much into it but look around (or call) one of the DVX User sponsored dealers.
