WIRELESS MIC WHERE TO ATTACHE TO CAM?

Re: WIRELESS MIC WHERE TO ATTACHE TO CAM?

We use the little Roland Modela MDX-15 http://www.rolanddga.com/products/3D/combo/mdx15/default.asp for quick prototypes and moldmaking. It has worked quite well for us for the last three years. Of course the first project we used it for we could just barely fit in the 4"x6"x2-3/8" working envelope. We probably should have gone for the MDX-20. I would not recommend it for extensive metal milling, you could be waiting for days for it to finish anything. Many of our little projects can take days in to mill out of plastic.

Greg,

Thanks for the info. Do you know if there are any "desktop" CNC/mills that would work with metals (aluminum)?

Are there any that would interface with a Macintosh?

thanks again,
Terry
