Hi, I just recieved the Sennheiser Evolution 100 Wireless Mic system. The system works well but I was wondering where to attache it to the Cam. Did any of you tape it right to the body of the cam or ... ? Would be really interested in your solutions.
you can get a thin sheet of aluminum or stainless from the hardware store, and drill some holes in it to put it inbetween the camer, and the tripod plate, and then bend it and cut it , and drill it however you want to make a nice little custom bracket for recievers. or you could buy one for 45.00+. the bracket 1 is pretty common.
Thanks for the fast answer. I was curious if there is some magic place hidden in the depths of the dvx that might give space for a reciever. The bracket will do.
This forum is really a great place to be.
I'm looking at mills and going to buy something I can put CNC on. Did you do much checking around before buying yours? An tips or good places to look? I want to stay under $750 or so for the mill and maybe another $1000 or less for the CNC add-ons.
My son is also buying a mini lathe and wants to do some CNC stuff for his R/C business, but I'm pretty sure he's got his stuff pick out already.
I would save your pennies and by that mini mill.. sure it only makes things 6"x6" big but it also scans things (so you can put an existing part in there and make an exact copy of it) and it doesnt take up room in the workshop.
of course, but the rods are a little trickey to make, as I made them for a specific task. Bracket no problem though. In fact I could probally make a pretty cool thinline one just for wireless recievers.
