wireless mic for the HVX200?

[matt9b]

Can anyone recommend a good hidden small clip wireless microphone for filming a presenter presenting documentaries - I'm using a HVX200 so must be compatible with this?

Thanks!

Sennheiser G2

i have the sennheiser ew100 g2 transmitter receiver pair with a countryman mic. the countryman is way WAY better then than mic that ships with the stock sennheiser kit. and its smaller as well

lectrosonic also makes great packs:

The Sennheiser EW112P-G2 kit would be great for this, and if you want the upgrade mic I would also recommend the countryman B3 wired for the Sennheiser pack as a better alternative to the stock Sennheiser with which it ships.

are these Sennheiser's good for filmmaking too or just documentary/presentation type of things?

I think so

i think this is a question which would have subjective answers, so it's hard to say. I've had people use the Sennheiser's in fairly high profile situations with good results, but what's "good" for some might not be "good" for others. There are many posts about this topic on here if you do a search, but the concensus is that the Sennheiser's are the best cam wireless under $1K.
