Wireless Hop to two cameras

I am wanting to run the same sound into two different cameras. Is it possible to have a wireless hop from a mixer to two cameras creating the same sound on both? One camera woud be an XD Cam and one would be a DSLR.

What would I need to do this?
Is it even possible to send wireless feed to DSLR(Mark III)?

If you have one transmitter and two receivers, all of the same make/model and all tuned to the same frequency, this shouldn't be a problem.

As far as running directly ingot he 5DmkIII, the short answer is, "Yes." The longer answer is that you'll need an output cable wired for unbalanced, stereo, 1/8" connection (systems like the Sennheiser G2/G3, Sony UWP-V1, and AT 1800 series come with the right cables. Also, you'll need a receiver that can output mic-level (all the above-mentioned do this). Did Canon add manual audio level control to the 5DmkIII? That's a must. Last, audio recording straight into a DSLR is rarely the best quality available. It's great for reference, but not for use in the edit... especially if you have a better copy from an external recorder or a second camera that has better sound recording,

Thanks for the quick reply Alex,

I will explore those options and see if it works out, I was thinking it shouldn't be to hard. Yes the 5D III does have manual audio leveling.

Are you actually using the camcorder and DSLR for recording your audio tracks? Or are you recording audio on a proper recorder and just syncing the video to the master audio recording? If you only need sync-reference audio, the microphones on the camcorder and DSLR are likely sufficient for that purpose. (Perhaps the ONLY thing they are sufficient for).

Note that two sets of wireless kit (transmitter and receiver) will almost certainly cost much more than a proper audio recorder and will yield poorer performance and be more fiddly to set up and operate.
