Wireless Electricity

If you think that's interesting you should read about this guy. Dude was crazy smart. Not sure if it's in this article, but he once powered an area from electricity originating something like a few hundred miles away, and no one knows how he did it. He also started an earthquake in his (I think) Manhattan apartment with one of his experiments.

Tesla was extremely clever, but I think his cult oversells him considerably. Not that the Tesla Coils in Red Alert weren't wicked cool.
 
Not really quite a theory. More like a very, very tenuous hypothesis. Actually, kind of just a sneaking suspicion.
