Wireless Band A, B, or G in United States

Ignoring that any number and strength of TV channels may be operating in a given area in bands A, B, and G, (I have the Sennheiser link for seeing channel and strength in an area) is there any reason to select one band over the other?

I'm going to buy a Sennheiser G3 and looking for any reasons to select one band over the other besides what TV channels are operating in the area.

Version GB may be worth considering.

The first 2MHz are the top end ov version G - the next 6MHz fill the gap between G and B are legal only in the UK - the rest of the freqiencies are all from version B.
