WIP Timelapse Footage

I guess I just don't understand what you don't understand... You seem to understand time-lapse recording. Just set-up your camera on a flower early in the morning before it has opened for the day and record.

Or am I missing something? Just curious.

Ted

Could have not explained it any better myself :~)

Well typically it would be to set up your camera to take so many frames or seconds of video every so many seconds or minutes.
i.e. 1 frame every 5 minutes.
Then you play that back on a 24 frame timeline and you have a nice smooth timelapse relative to the amount of frames you shot.

Jason

yup,

I usually shoot about 300 frames in a course of about 1 to 1.5 hours depends on the exposure time.... could be less

what were your interval settings for the flower?
and where were the city scenes shot?

there's some great stuff here.

Every 4 secs ( its how long it takes to dump the image to the laptop )

Hey some of that video was shot on beachside of Daytona Beach Flordia right? Thats pretty nuts b/c I would never thought that sone on here would post something from there b/c I go to school at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

I mostly shoot manual unless I am doing a day to night scene where I let the
cam adjust the shutter as it gets dark.

Do u mean auto Iris, because I don't know how to do auto shutter.

Yup, here at DVXuser we represent the entire world and Daytona Beach :~)

Riddle, Flying or Software Engineer?

I went there for a semester back in '98 for the software engineer degree,
wasn't really what I wanted to do.

looks amazing, but why is it posted here? This is giving false hope to people who look at it thinking they can do this with their HVX.. I've seen trails, but not on a straight away.. only on a cruve..

Great Shots...

I really like the traffic lights at Intl. Speedway & Beach Street, great effects!

I too am in Daytona Beach (been here 30 years), Mainland Grad!

Wait, you said this was done on a digital rebel, not HVX, right?

Maybe this needs to go in a different section, aye? I was over here tripping out on this, wanting to ask you what scene file setting you used for your night shots.

It is very nice, nonetheless.
