winter and spring in 25p

by popular demand (in the schlosspark grabs thread) i threw together 2 clips that show my first 25p experiences since i got the cam:

the first is from when i shot a few establishers for a TV show in a little skiviallge in switzerland called Adelboden. it was dumping all weekend. footage raw, no CC whatsoever

the second is the clip from the grabs you find in the "schlosspark grabs" thread. also no colorcorrcection, cos it was a pure test while spending time with my boy.

beautiful movies. as far as your camera settings go, did you set the camera the same for both movies? What did you set it at, if you don't mind me asking? they are both VERY rich and vibrant movies but do not look anything like video. Definitely among the most 'film-like' I have seen.
I get my DVX Thursday or Friday and cannot wait.
 
brandon and rich: try to rightclick and download instead of just streaming.

Rick: i am new myself but i have read a lot here. the settings from adelboden are gone.
in the spring clip the main settings are:
detail -2
colour temp -2
master ped -4.

i think decreasing detail and getting a warmer and darker touch is the main key to get away from the videolook.
