Windows on a Mac?

OSX on X86 is illegal to install because it contains system hacks which violate EULA agreements.

It may violate the EULA, but it doesn't make it "illegal" in a criminal sense, like a copyright violation.

It's also illegal because the only way to get it is to download a pirated copy. You may not agree with it, but there it is.

You can buy OS X and hack it yourself. It would not be a pirated copy.

[To tigeba or someone else] Can you write about how you did it?

I posted this awhile ago, someone will probably delete the post again like last time. Here is a screenshot of me running my copy of FCP on a plain vanilla X86 machine

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (in the US) makes it illegal to circumvent any digital rights management systems implemented in digital media (including computer software). So to install OS X on a non-Apple PC you are either "hacking" their DRM to get it onto a plain PC, or you are "borrowing" a copy from someone else - either way you are breaking the law...

I seem to recall that other countries are following suit with updates to copyright law, but I can't remember which ones have actually adopted similar policies yet.

What about running HDrack (when they make it for the HVX) in your Mac and not have to carry or have two expensive laptops?

I think it´s an interesting feature for the new macs.
