Windows 7 x64 + P2 Card Drivers

Hello all, I have a Dell Precision M6500 mobile workstation. It has a CardBus slot using the Texas Instruments PCI8412 chipset. I installed the drivers for that from Dell's website.

I then installed the Panasonic P2 card drivers for Windows x64. When I insert a card, I get a yellow bang under IDE/ATAPI Controllers that says "Panasonic P2 Card". The message says "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)"

Any ideas? I have a DuelAdapter and I think I actually had the same problem with another computer and Windows 7 x64.

Thanks!

I'm surprised that no one has had anything to say here. I've visited this board often for quite a bit of good info, so much so that I haven't needed to post until now.

After a lot of frustration getting this to work, I did another Windows 7 x64 clean install. When I went to install the P2 Drivers again, the SAME THING happened. First I got a BSoD caused by RTWHCI.sys. This file has nothing to do with the Panasonic P2 driver, but installing the P2 driver made it real mad. This file is related to the UWB driver that is part of the Dell Wireless 365 Bluetooth + UWB 420 hardware. I really want to know what the conflict is. So, on my next boot, I disabled that driver and reinstalled the P2 driver using Have Disk method, and IT WORKS!!!

I'm going to investigate this more to see if I can pinpoint the problem. I actually talked to Panasonic P2 support on the phone today and the person I talked to had no clue about this stuff.

If there's a better place for this thread, please move it.

Thanks!
