I am planning on buying a DVX within the next month and I am wondering if anyone here has had experience with Willoughby's? They are listing the DVX100A for about $250 less than other authorized dealers. Thank you for any advice, comments.

i was going to get it from them until Rush told me some weird thing about them trying to sell it to you in packages or something, I dont know, but I recommend EVS, with the discount plus the great shipping discounts, it's worth it
i purchased my dvx from them back in may. no problems, they made a pitch for some package stuff by i declined and they didn't press it. pushed the extended warranty pretty hard though, they really wanted me to go for the 4 year instead of the 2. but i firmly stated i only wanted 2, and cool enough they ended up giving me the 4 for the prrice of the 2......
I bought mine from them, and yep bought a package - but I needed everything in it. Bag, filters and a battery. All pretty essential in my view. I refused to pay sales tax and he took that off. My only mystery about them is that the manual for mine is half french, half english. Does that mean we got a canadian DVX?
My manual's half-french too, so no, no Canada-specific model.
While Willoughby's engages in some of the same practices as some of the unauthorized dealers, they *are* an authorized dealer, so you should be assured of getting a US model, factory-sealed, with a factory warranty.
Yes, you're right. Thanks for posting that up. I guess I'll buy from them, but just the camera, no package. Please post your experience if you buy from them.
