It says on their website that they are authorized and "Cnet certified"
Does that mean anything?
They have a DVX100B for 2500 after the rebate which isnt too expensive but it isnt too cheap either. and also, reseller ratings has either mixed ratings. Let me know if you guys have any info/experiences with them.
They seem to operate almost like one of the less-than-savory shops, but they are in fact Panasonic authorized, so that means that if they try any funny business with you, you can call in Jan to drop the hammer on 'em.
Just don't buy any of their low-quality overpriced accessories and you should do just fine. Get it at $3000 flat, no additional warranties or lens adapters or filter kits, mail for the rebate, and that should get you set up. Watch it on shipping charges too.
The guy initially quoted me a high price for batteries but then matched a lower price I quoted from somewhere else--no hesitation/no argument. So that was great. My only issue is that I paid by Cashiers check and they held it for 10 business days. Even though my bank confirmed that it cleared in 2, they wouldnt ship until 10 days after. I even spoke to the manager, no how , no way, company policy. I could have used it on a shoot. Their policy is their policy so I cant complain. My fault for not asking enough questions and assuming otherwise.
Bottom line, they did give me the best price of anywhere at the time. It was actually lower than the advertised web price. They did give me great service. They will try to sell you extra junk. Dont assume anything. Ask questions. You should be fine.
why wouldn't you buy at Costco? same rebate and you can return it anytime, and I mean anytime ten years from now for full refund including shipping.........
