I recieved the product with the book, so hopefully im just looking in wrong places. Willoughbys is contacting me tomorrow. I think im just a little too excited, recieving my camera today right after watching Star Wars
If it came with the DVX Book/DVD in the package, then you have a genuine US unit.
If it doesn't have it, then they gray-marketed you, and that's their problem to solve, not Panasonic's.
(exception: if it's old stock from back before January, before the DVX Book/DVD was included, then it might still be a legit US unit, but you'd have to check the serial # with Jan).
If the DVX Book/DVD was in the package, don't worry, you have a legit US unit. If it wasn't, then you should definitely contact Jan, because she could verify whether it's gray or not, and I'm sure she'd be *most interested* to know if an authorized dealer sent you a gray-market product -- I imagine that if that's the case, they wouldn't remain authorized for very long!
