Willoughby's Experience: A-OK

Just thought I'd share my DVX100A purchasing experience from Willoughbys (www.willoughbys.com) for the benefit of those shopping around to buy theirs. This isn't a commercial, just a true account of my experience.

I found Willoughbys to be the cheapest ($3342.95 including tax & shipping from NY to CA). Placed my order online, and it was shipped the next business day after I called to verify my order (for security reasons). Arrived in original sealed Panny box (double-boxed actually) with all accessories and warranty card, as advertised.

I have no complaints with them. Although I never had to deal personally with customer service through them, everything is fine.

Just thought I'd post this for the benefit of those still looking for a place to buy.

By accessories I meant the charger, battery, remote, etc...the standard extras that come with any legitimate DVX100A purchase.

(Some gray market companies have been scamming people by selling them DVX100As at very low prices, but not telling the buyers that the "standard" accessories are not included in these prices.

Willoughby's is not a Gray Market dealer..they are an offical panasonic dealer...so they sell the real stuff...

I had a similar as well as it could go experience with them. Only problem was I called one Thursday, they were out of the camera only, so I called back a week later when they said they'd have more. They had them then, I ordered. Didn't get the -hard- sell (I made up some stuff that I already had filters and extra batts and what not), and that was that.

I too was happy they double boxed it.

Good experience overall.
