Willie Roach music video (hip hop)

that was hot jay. the editing was pretty tight. did you do your color grading in fcp or ae? also what did you use to rig the camera for the moving shots inside the truck?

FilmBoy77,
thanks man..... I did all of the color grading in FCP. The moving car interior shots were done by mounting the camera to the windshield with the Sticky Pod. I wasn't sure how much I'd like the product until I actually used it. I highly recommend it.

DM,
Thanks man..... I don't remember what I exported as. I think it's 840x420. I've always liked exporting in that size.

that's wassup. do you feel your cam was really really really secure with the sticky pod?

i was debating on getting one but didn't talk to enough people that have actually used it with the same cam i have (hpx).

Great shots. The fisheye was money.

Where is this getting played? The web right? In my admittedly limited experience you can't get away with anything too edgy at all in music videos on TV. Daytime play in particular but not too much more at night.

Hey thanks guys!

It's pretty much intended for web and hand out promotions only. If anything network oriented comes along we'll just edit out the violent parts. :)

Stoked! Looks great jay. What fisheye did you use? Also how did you light the shots in the car, and in the warehouse when he's by the crates or whatever? Sorry if that's too much info:beer:

Goons: check
Drugs: check
Guns: check
Gansta: check
Somebody getting shot: check

Half naked hoes shaking their ass: ....priceless

LOL thanks Newman. The funny thing is that what you said fits most hollywood action movies! LOL

green thumb thanks, I lit the interior car shots using these cool little LED panel lights that I bought from B&H for under $40 each. Great buy! They're AA battery operated and can link together if needed. I don't have them with me right now so I can't give any other info on them until later. The "box" shots were lit with one 1k light on the artists left side and four, maybe five, 100 watt bulbs by his feet. If you noticed, those boxes were pretty deep. They were about 30 feet deep and at the deep end there was a four foot opening that went across all of the boxes so I put another 1k light on one side so that it could shine all the way across the back side of the others.

As for the fisheye lens, here's what I used: Century Precision Optics Fisheye Adapter Lens B&H part# CEHDFEADAG
