GH4 Will we ever see the Fuji/Panasonic organic sensor that was announced 3 years ago?

It was supposed to dramatically improve dynamic range and also improve ISO capabilities. I saw a rumor that Panasonic might not be announcing the GH5 at Photokina and, if true, I wonder if they're holding off until they're able to put a sensor in it that will make people sit up and take notice.
 
I expect this new sensor tech will be a big deal when it finally arrives, but it still might be 2 years away from actually being used in a product.
