Greetings. I've got a Quickstream hard drive that captures footage via the firewire port on your camera. While you shoot, it generates .mov or .avi files of the footage. After the shoot, you can transfer the footage to a computer and you're ready to edit.
Kind of a poor man's P2 card. It's proven very reliable for me.
According to my research, current retail is somewhere around $750.
I'm looking for either the Panasonic anamorphic adapter for the dvx100 series or a 35mm adapter (Letus35, go35pro, red rocks, etc...). Depending on the quality of the adapter, I'll probably also want a basic f/1.4 50mm nikon-quality lense as well.
