Sorry all, still trying to figure out all of the threads on the site.
This may have been answered before.
Will the dvx record 24p from a line in source such as another camera if you are A. running the other camera live? B. running a tape previously recorded? If you are using the line in video, how do you switch from line in to the dvx without unplugging the feed?
I have not yet purchased my camera. It's probably two weeks away.

I am by no means a DVX guru, but I believe that this is not possible. There may be a work-around though, that I do not know about.

NO - You can't record 24p through the line input. Only live through the lens.
