GH4 Will the upcoming Veydra 25mm 2x anamorphic be equivalent to 43mm on full frame?

Trying to figure out what it would equal in terms of a full frame spehrical lens.

In 4K mode, I would think it would be more than 50mm.

If I understand the question correctly, a spherical 25mm would indeed give a equivalent FOV of 50+mm in normal situations.

However, I was told by another manufacturer that the 2x anamorphic returns the equivalence to around 25mm when using a 4x3 aspect ratio and then stretching out the image.

Anyway, regardless of the math, the resulting image is wide.

Here is some footage of a 25mm spherical with a 2x adapter (minute 1.42 to 2.17). I'm assuming the Veydra would not vignette.

Thanks. You're right. I now see it's going to be quite a bit wider than 43mm.
