Will the Tokina 16-50 work with the Kipon built-in aperture Adapter?

Hi. I use the Tokina 11-16 with my Kipon "built-in aperture control" adapter on my AF100. Works great.

I bought a Tamron 17-50 2.8 but realized after the fact that it's EF-S mount which won't work with the Kipon... Doh!

Anyone know if the Tokina 16-50 2.8 will work with the Kipon? Thanks!

thanks David. decisions, decisions... Do I deal with my Tamron 17-50 basically fixed at 2.8 and which is supposed to be optically better then the Tokina 16-50? Or do I trade the Tamron in for the Tokina to use with the Kipon? Hmmm, I'll figure it out but thanks for the reply.

I can't find a Kipon Nikon to 4/3 with aperture control anywhere...can you link me? Finding adapters for this thing is a pain sometimes lol.

I have the Tokina 16-50 and it's a good lens. Maybe not the best, but I can't find anything wrong with it.

The Kipon nikon adapter does not have a built in aperture, it controls the lenses aperture in the nikon mount version by working with the mechanical aperture linkage on the lens...

My (as well as a few other peoples) Kipon adapter is a real piece of **** with a lot of play in addition to the flange distance being off which affects my focus (I lost infinity on half my prime set with it). In other words, avoid the kipon and get a good adapter unless you are just playing around with the lens.
