GH2 Will the GH3 be At NAB 2012

GH3 is a consumer product. NAB is a professional broadcasters and film makers convention. There will be no mention of a GH3.

People went to the Panasonic booth last year to ask about the GH2. You don't want to see the reactions.
 
I'd love to see the reactions. I have commercials airing that I shot with the Gh 2 its a great camera

I was one of those people. I got brushed off rather abruptly. Canon, on the other hand, seemed quite proud to show off their DSLRs in their booth.

Shame really, the GH2 could've gained a lot more noteriety in the indie film world had Panasonic really pushed it.
 
I agree, to me a great example of this is the popularity of the 7D. I prefer shooting with the GH 2 over the 7D.
 
well theres no profit in selling somethign that isnt in their product line :P

I guess what panasonic should do is build a broadcast cam around the size of the gh2 without the bulk of af100. maybe more rugged and more controls, minus the xlr & NDs.. a good b-cam for those tight places or car rigs. pair it with the 14mm 2.5, youve got a crash cam!

i dont think it would take away sales from the af100 but rather complement it.
