will magic bullet v1 turn 60i to 24p?

I captured 60i and I need to turn it to 24p. I dont want to buy nattress and I dont want to upgrade to magic bullet v2. Any ideas? I am using FCP.

I tried to post this on the fcp forum but no one answered this question.
 
Andrew, i know you said your using final cut pro, so this might be plain dumb, but when you say magic bullet v2, does that mean the editor, or the Suite?

cause i have magic bullet editor, ( which i dont actually use cause its looks are too drastic ) and there is nothing in there which converts 60i to 24p, but the Suite, or whatever its called, something magic bullet will do that. Probably doesnt answer your question but my best guess is that you need the actual magic bullet suite.
