Will having a branded production vehicle help my business?

Has anyone with a video production company tried branding on there production vehicle. And if so how successful has it been for your business? I am considering purchasing a caddy which is a panel van which i would use for shoots.

I live in a busy area and i will be doing allot of driving around to meet clients etc. But im interested to know if i can expect some calls from people who see my car driving around. All considering i will be doing a proper job of branding the car.
 
My personal thought on this is, "Don't label your vehicle as 'this car is loaded with expensive stuff.'"
 
I work for an A/V company that has branded vans for rental techs and installers... and as far as I know the only calls we've gotten were to complain about somebody's driving.

And on a personal level, driving a branded van annoys me because I can't flip off the idiots in this town... :)
 
If you really feel the need, get a magnetic sign you can take off when you're done for the day.
They look just like the painted on type, but they're removable. They also work on any car.
 
Howcome you guys dont have any vans for A/v? Are you saying you don't get any queries from your vans at all?
 
when i was young and stupid I got drunk one night and drove our branded auv and drag raced with a local priest who loaded his car with some prostitutes, then i overtook him, made a u-turn and ran head to head playing chicken till he bailed out.

Needless to say, my late mother woke me up the next day to say a priest was outside looking for the guy who was driving the company vehicle the night before....
