Will Apple Shake 4 run on Intel Macs?

I am being offered Shake4 (brand new -- never opened) for a nice discount... but I don't know if I should buy it since I am using an Intel Mac. Any advice?

Not yet, you'll have to pay the upgrade fee because Apple is not releasing a crossgrade for Shake, instead they are releasing the next version as Intel compatible. So, that will set you back about $1000 if they keep the current price structure.

Yeah one thing about Apple I noticed is very good upgrade pricing.... much better than say Premiere (#%#@). Reason I just made the switch - well not the only one,

Good upgrade pricing is because they want to sell there intel machines as fast as possible. If it it weren't for that they would have charged more.
But any unlucky one that purchased a Shake licence over the last months is probabely foaming at the mouth while calling Apple. I was almost in that situation (luckily I have a good dealer that knew 'something' was coming), and I would have been 'not amused' to say the least.
Don't get me wrong though, the only computer I care to put in my home and office is a mac...
