Synopsis: Twentysomething couple Luke and Dana get into a car accident, leaving Luke relatively unharmed but putting Dana into a coma. When visiting her in the hospital one day, Luke asks Dana's physician, Dr. Wick, if there's any way that Dana and him could have a child if she doesn't come out of the coma. Before they can really discuss Luke's odd question, Dana starts to code. Reacting irrationally, Luke draws a gun on Dr. Wick and Nurse Jennings, demanding that they harvest Dana's eggs before it's too late. Dana is stabilized, but a hostage situation has begun. While trying to get his unorthodox request granted, Luke also has to get himself out of the mess he created, which now involves the police, the media, and his and Dana's families The dramatic events in the hospital are contrasted by lighthearted flashbacks of Luke and Dana's growing relationship until ultimately the end of one story meets up with the beginning of the other, resulting in a finale that examines the fine line between love and obsession.
I'm posting this to to spread the word about an independent film that will be done this summer. Right now, our director, producer and assistant director are in the process of fundraising for the film. Although we have surpassed our goal, we are looking to raise more funds for emergency issues that may arise during filming.
So, please visit https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/521898205/will-and-testament-a-full-length-independent-film and help pledge. If you pledge at least $10, you will get a copy of the movie when it is finished. If you pledge more than that, there are other things you will be entitled to.
When you visit the site, you can read updates about how well the pre-production process has been so far.
There are only a few days left, but anything you can do to help will make this movie be the best it can be on a low budget.
Thanks!
