Hi folks!
I'm looking for a bit of advice, as I'm starting with a concept and want to take it further.
I'm a car journalist, with access to some of the maddest cars in the world. Think naked carbon fibre Bugatti Veyrons with even more power, 800bhp Audi R8s and 250mph+ Porsches. Now I'd like to make a DVD, and a few forays on Youtube shows there's enough of an interest in the cars.
But I'll need help, and the same as every would be filmmaker it comes out of my pocket and the equipment seems to have cleaned them out thoroughly! So I need to find those magical film students, enthusiasts etc who will do it on a shoestring because it's a cool thing to do, experience etc...
I'll be looking to shoot for a week in the Summer, maybe two, so I think it's possible. And obviously they will get paid something, just the usual pittance! Any ideas on where to look for them? Anybody want to help and film some insane crazy cars? I'm all ears!
Thanks for any input you've got!
Nick
