Wifi iPod?

Not really wedding based, but thought it may be an interesting topic.

A lot of videographers may have an interest in doing narrative/documentaries for their own personal pleasure/passion, yet there is not a strong market for small studios to make money doing so full time.

With the internet video business and downloadable content now starting to get underway, hopefully that will change and there can be a strong market for making shorts and selling them online, but it'll still be hard sell individual shorts without people seeing them, and if you make a trailer you're film is so short you may just give the whole damn story away - so where does iPods fit in...

One way maybe an online subscription service, where maybe someone can continually make shorts/docs/videos made by personal passion and maybe preview one of them to sell a continuing subscription - iPods would be the quickest way IMO but while you can download from a desktop, it would be best if you can do it straight from your iPod -

So my question is - as I'm not into iPods and following up on them, has anyone heard of a portable video/mp3 player with wifi capabilities where you can download a 5-10 minute mp4 or wmv straight from the device itself - has apple mentioned anything like this for the iPod?

I'm sure it will eventually happen. But a free service like YouTube / iFilm, atomfilms.com could probably make get people to pay if it were a downloadable iPod service for example, yet I don't think iPods are close to having Wifi built in.
