WiFi help?

Hey all, I am wondering if there is a way I can get an external wifi antenna that will allow me to get WiFi signal in my room wich is half in and half out of our router range. My desk and computer are just outside of it, but my bed has full streingth, so I am wondering if I could rig up something to have the antenna by my bed and run a cable (USB or LAN or whathavewe) back to my computer. I also have to keep it hush hush cause I am not sure if my mom wants me to have internet acces in my room... it may be not a good idea anyway cause thats my editing computer...

External antennae are possible.

And if you stick it inside a Pringles can, you can connect from waaaaaay far away, if it's aimed correctly. (Google WiFi Pringles :) )
