I have a Panasonic V720K video camera with WiFi and HDMI out and the HDMI is useless when the WiFi is active because of a dialog box over the video out of the HDMI connection. It is possible to trick the camera into showing the video behind the box (it normally goes away when WiFi is active) by switching into WiFi immediately after powering on the camera, but the box is still there.
Can anyone tell me if the GH-3 does the same trick, or is the HDMI useable during WiFi control?
The same information would be useful for the X920 - I don't know what it does.
Thanks,
crc
